Noah

Noah is a given name that is used in many parts of the world, including the United States and Europe. It is derived from the Hebrew name Noach, which means "rest" or "comfort." Noah is most famously known as the hero of the story of the Great Flood in the Bible. According to the story, God commanded Noah to build an ark and to bring two of every kind of animal onto the ark to preserve them from a great flood that God was going to send to destroy the world. After the flood, God made a covenant with Noah, promising never to destroy the world again by flood. The name Noah has been popular among Jews, Christians, and Muslims, and it is often chosen for its meaning and positive connotations.
